Throughout the trip, you’ll visit orangutan rehabilitation centers at Tanjung Harapan, Pondok Tanggui, and Camp Leakey, witnessing these incredible primates up close in their natural habitat. Spend the night on a comfortable liveaboard boat, listening to the tranquil sounds of the jungle.

  • This tour is easy and suitable for all ages, with only short jungle treks required.
  • You will spend the night onboard the Klotok boat, which has a comfortable sleeping area with a mattress, mosquito net, and blankets.
  • While we visit rehabilitation centers, there is a high chance of spotting wild orangutans swinging in the trees along the river.

  • 11:00 - 11:30 : Pick up from Pangkalan Bun Airport or hotel, transfer to Kumai
  • 11:30 - 12:00 : Arrive in Kumai and board the Klotok boat
  • 12:00 - 13:00 : Boat ride along the Sekonyer River, enjoying mangrove forests and wildlife while lunch is served on board
  • 13:00 - 15:00 : Short jungle trek to Tanjung Harapan Camp to see orangutans during feeding time
  • 15:00 - 17:00 : Cruise along the river to observe proboscis monkeys and other wildlife in the late afternoon
